To take the test, you must be at least 17 years old on the test date (18 for Indonesian nationals) and not hold Japanese nationality. If taking the test in Japan, you need a valid status of residence.
Test fees have been revised for tests administered on or after April 1, 2026. The Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test and Nursing Care Japanese Language Evaluation Test both cost ￥2,000 in Japan. For tests outside Japan, check Prometric's country-specific test fees.
The result is shown on the screen when the exam ends.
You can check the exam result notice on the reservation site My Page within five business days from the day after the exam.

You cannot retake an exam you have passed. If you fail, you also cannot take the same exam for 45 days from the day after the exam date.
