For SSW(i), after signing the employment contract and before applying for residence status, pre-application guidance, a health check, and other steps are carried out. The company or registered support organization may handle the preparations.

When to do it
  • After receiving a job offer, sign an employment contract

  • Check how originals and copies of the medical certificate and personal health check form will be handled
  • If you have the health check overseas, check whether a Japanese translation is required
