Foreign nationals who are at least 17 on the test date may take the test. Both the written and practical tests are administered in Japanese, and technical terms may also be shown in other languages. JAEA publishes dates and venues for each event.

Airport Ground Handling

New administration guidelines apply from domestic tests in August 2026, adding three areas: passenger handling, transport and loading/unloading of in-flight meals, and aviation fuel handling. Use the current REV2 materials.
