| Eligibility | In principle, applicants must be foreign nationals who are at least 17 years old on the test date (18 for Indonesian nationals) and intend to work in Japan after passing. Japanese nationals cannot take the test. |
| Retaking the Exam | You cannot retake the same test category for 45 days starting the day after the test date. |
| Test Level | The standard is about Grade 3 of the skills test taken by people who completed Technical Intern Training No. 2. |
