1.Venue and Schedule

In FY 2026, tests are administered at Prometric venues in 14 countries, including Japan. Dates and availability vary by venue.

  • Reservation Period: 2026/4/7〜2027/3/5
  • Exam Period: 2026/4/24〜2027/3/10
  • Countries Held: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mongolia, Myanmar (excluding Mandalay), Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Pakistan
  • Age Limit: You must be at least 17 years old on the test day. If you are Indonesian, you must be at least 18 years old.
  • Nationality Limit: Japanese nationals cannot take the test

2.Exam Fee

Exam fee in Japan: ￥8,000

Test fees overseas vary by country. See Prometric's country-specific test fees.

3.Successful Applicants

Your result is displayed on the computer screen when the test ends, and you can view the result notice in your Prometric account within 5 business days after the test date.

4.Test Structure

Both crop farming and livestock farming tests consist of a written test, a practical judgment test using illustrations and photos, and listening to Japanese instructions for agricultural work.
