This page summarizes the SSW Type 2 Agriculture evaluation test based on official information from the Agriculture Skill Assessment Test (ASAT) and the National Chamber of Agriculture. The test assesses advanced skills, and your work experience and documents must be verified before you can take it.
From FY 2026, the Agriculture SSW (ii) test is available year-round at Prometric venues in Japan. Before taking the test, have your work experience documents reviewed by the National Chamber of Agriculture and book with the issued application number.

Test fee in Japan: ￥15,000
Before applying, submit a work experience certificate and pledge to the National Chamber of Agriculture. You need the application number issued after the documents are reviewed.

Your result is displayed on the computer screen when the test ends, and you can view the result notice in your Prometric account within 5 business days after the test date.
The score report is valid for 10 years from the test date. However, the National Chamber of Agriculture retains test result data for 5 years.
