Domestic tests for FY 2026 have been administered since June 23, 2026. Corporate registrant bookings began at 13:00 on May 25, 2026, and can be made for tests up to three months ahead.
For Food Service SSW (ii), register the test taker through the corporate account, then book the date, time, and venue in the test-taker account. You cannot apply with only an individual account.

For test-taker registration, the company must submit a work experience certificate to OTAFF for review. You cannot apply for Food Service Type 2 with only a personal My Page.
Test fees are generally non-refundable, but they are refunded if the test cannot be held due to OTAFF reasons or is canceled because of a natural disaster.
The result is shown on the screen when the exam ends.
The exam result notice can usually be downloaded from My Page within 5 business days after the exam date. It is not sent by mail.
An exam result notice showing Pass becomes the certificate, and the same notice is used for applications to the Immigration Services Agency.
JF provides Type 2 study texts in 4 subjects: customer service, food and drink preparation, hygiene management, and store operations. The test includes questions from all subjects.
